About us.

Over the last 10 years in the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy has successfully developed a new promising area of ??biomedical research. Selected direction is connected with possibilities of the use of stem cells as a source of cell reserves in the body. The powerful potential of stem cells and their ability to differentiate into different directions offer unlimited prospects for developlment of future therapeutic and diagnostic aproaches.

In NaUKMA this scientific field developed by the Center of molecular and cell research where the original cell technologies relating to the cultivation of stem cells are being developed. Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Center of molecular and cell research held a worldwide NATO ASI conference «Stem cells and their potential for clinical application", which had considerable resonance in scientific and medical circles in Ukraine, and far abroad.
